My Interest in Working with Survivors
All people benefit from understanding their true nature, which is what the practice of Yoga can offer. Life offers unimaginable gifts. To open to our fullest potential, we must identify our innate inner capacities, in turn, receiving the precious gifts of life. How do we skillfully tap our inner capacities? As our understanding grows concerning actions and experiences in relation to the health of our innermost self or soul, we gain momentum to live with ease and contentment.
My Approach to Trauma-Informed Care
Sessions with me can benefit anyone interested in establishing balance and equanimity in a busy, and at times, overwhelming world. I support individuals in opening to the natural vitality flowing within themselves and growing their capacity for peace of mind. My personalized approach can pave the way for a person to experience the bliss that is our natural state.
Kristin teaches Jivana Yoga, a holistic system based in the ancient traditions of India. Through her heartfelt commitment towards truly understanding human nature and many years of personal practice, Kristin is known for helping others to realize their own authentic connection to a healthy lifestyle and the yoga path. The mentoring she provides offers guidance and practical tools to illuminate the relationship between one’s life, lifestyle and inner well-being. She also offers mentoring specifically for yoga instructors.
How Yoga and Mentoring Holistically Address the Impacts of Sexual Violence
My yoga teaching method is intuitive and deep. It is a natural healing method that works with the flow of natural energy, or prana, to promote optimal vitality and well-being. You can expect deep relaxation, rejuvenation and peace with possible resolution to imbalances throughout the system, including physical, emotional and energetic.
Through mentoring I can help a person to establish and support the conditions to experience more meaning, satisfaction, and spaciousness in daily life. This serves to facilitate one’s innate ability to access peace and contentment. Areas that we might address may include, but are not limited to: Ones Inner Life/Spiritual Practice, Trauma, Livelihood, Teaching Yoga, Relationships, Transitions, Diet and Sleep.
I am able to offer sliding-scale services.
