We are expanding our reach and seek an intern to help us grow our network, reach a wider audience through strategic marketing and ensure that survivors of sexual violence can access trauma-informed, sliding-scale, holistic healing arts practitioners. We are looking for a Marketing and Technical Support Intern to assist us in these endeavors. Our internships allow for creativity and innovation as well as working both independently and alongside our Founder to bring holistic healing to survivors and ensure they receive optimal, trauma-informed support from our practitioner community.

Marketing and Technical Support Intern
The Breathe Network seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic intern to work on expanding the reach of our network of holistic healing arts practitioners across the United States and Canada while strengthening existing resources. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing organization as a Marketing + Technical Support Intern.
The ideal candidate has a passion for the movement to end sexual violence and interest or familiarity with the holistic healing arts. In this role you will have a dynamic learning opportunity within a young and innovative, non-profit organization. The position offers schedule flexibility and the freedom to explore other personal areas of research interest that are related to the mission of our organization.
Gather and compile information about holistic healing arts schools/training centers (Acupuncture, Massage, Chiropractic, Naturopathic Medicine, Psychotherapy, Yoga, etc.) for future partnerships and training
Gather and compile information about lead publications for a variety of healing arts modalities to help with strategic marketing campaign
Support with social media engagement
Prepare (read, edit, format) practitioner applications with support of Executive Director for transfer to website. (Familiarity with WordPress is ideal, but not required)
Update content on existing practitioner/organization pages, edits, etc.
Assist with the development of our monthly e-newsletter “Embodied Healing” (Familiarity with MailChimp or other e-news format)
Background in Social Work, Psychology, Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies, Public Health/Policy, Social Justice or related field
Personal or professional involvement with the holistic healing arts (acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, psychotherapy, Reiki, yoga, etc.)
Volunteer, internship, academic or work experience with social justice issues, sexual violence, domestic violence, health and wellness, or community outreach
Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Confidence in communicating about the importance of making the holistic healing arts increasingly accessible to sexual trauma survivors
4 – 6 hours/week.
This position is unpaid, however it can be structured for the purposes of academic credit.
Can be performed remotely.
