Embodied Healing: Bringing Trauma-Informed Care to Survivors of Sexual Violence

Embodied Healing

Join us on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 for our training in best practices for bringing trauma-informed care to survivors of sexual violence at yogaview in Chicago!

Drawing from survivor testimony, cutting-edge research and professional insights, our team will provide an in-depth conversation about the impacts of sexual trauma, along with the tools and resources to assist participants in fostering a trauma-informed environment for the people they serve in a variety of healing and wellness settings. The training will include interactive presentations from practitioners from a variety of healing arts practices including acupuncture, yoga, chiropractic, energy healing and more. Each presenter will share how these practices can meet the unique mind-body-soul needs of survivors and how they may be modified and delivered most effectively to support trauma resilience.

Teaching faculty and registration details forthcoming!
