About

I offer body-centered therapy and trauma-informed care as a result of my own holistic approach to my sobriety and well-being. For over twenty years, I have worked as a professional in the healing arts, including massage, hypnotherapy and polarity therapy.

Treatment Modalities

Inner child support, energy work, emotional support, body memory, and breath work. Cranial Sacral therapy, lymph, hypnotherapy, Reiki, Somatic Recovery.

Experience

I have worked in alcohol and drug recovery in various environments, including a local treatment center. I have created my own healing treatment, to honor my Native American roots and celebrate the Esselen tribe, indigenous to California’s Monterey Peninsula where I live and practice. I have a strong understanding of the impacts of historical trauma and I educate on the historical and modern perspective of human trafficking as well as the traumas that were suffered through the colonization of my ancestors.

My Interest in Working with Survivors

I am interested in working with survivors as social action is a prayer needed to change the violent pathways embedded in our lives.

My Approach to Trauma-Informed Care

My approach is grounded in an understanding of and responsiveness to the impact of trauma. In my practice I emphasize the physical, psychological, and emotional safety for both provider and survivor, and that creates opportunities for survivors to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.

How My Practice Holistically Addresses the Impacts of Sexual Trauma

Both bodywork and energy healing address the body, mind and spirit. I bring safety and support through these practices so that my clients can find their own balance. By beginning with self-care practices like these, they create a path to unwind the trauma from within and develop tools and resources for empowerment.

Modifications for Survivors

I work with each client to adjust or add exercises or resources, and I will always modify the treatment to meet their specific challenges and needs.

Other Areas of Expertise

I have worked in the treatment field of addiction.

Payment Options

I am able to offer a sliding-scale.
